Each bag holds 1 cubic foot, which means you would get about 42 bags from a 1/3 of a cord (cord is 4' x 4' x8') or about 128 bags from a full cord assuming they are 16" long. w

1 cubic foot capacity bags measure 21" wide and 25" tall with a black draw string closure. Holds 8-12 average pieces of firewood 14"-16". bag measures 22" x 24"
.75 cubic foot capacity bags measure 18" wide and 25" tall with a black draw string closure. Holds 8-10 average size pieces of firewood 14"-16". bag measures 18" x 24"
Bags are easy to fill using a bottomless 5-gallon bucket. (If you want to put a little more in, cut the bucket along the side from top to bottom, this allows it to expand a little.) Place bucket in bag, fill bucket, pull bucket out, tie bag.
These bags are not biodegradable and should not be burned either. They should be recycled or collected for reuse. All of our mesh firewood bags are made of polypropylene, a #5 recyclable thermoplastic. The labelled firewood bag includes the familiar recycling symbol on the label of each bag for easy identification.

What are mesh firewood bags made from?
Our mesh firewood bags are made from strong polypropylene mesh, allowing thorough ventilation throughout. Polypropylene is a Type 5 recyclable plastic.
How do I know what bag size I need for my firewood?
Our firewood bags are sized to hold either 0.75cf or 1.0cf of firewood based on cut length of 14-18”. Because the bag dimensions are measured flat, the 25” height is required to wrap around the top and bottom of the firewood bundle. 14” cuts require more tightly packing the bag while the same volume of 18” cuts requires less dense packing of the bag.
