Rear Differential-CV joint heat shield for 2021-2024 RMAX2 / RMAX4 1000 models: The rear differential and inner CV joints are subject to an extreme amount of heat, due to minimal airflow and close location to the exhaust. This extreme temperature is the number one cause for pre mature differential and CV joint failure. We have measured temps in excess of 265 degrees Fahrenheit, without a heat shield installed. Our heat shield is designed and tested to significantly reduce temps, by over 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Adding this to your RMAX will assure critical driveline components operate at a reasonable temp, greatly prolonging service and oil life. We use premium grade materials and CNC machine manufacturing to produce a high quality long lasting product, so you can ride with confidence.
