I like my Yaesu VX-7 but sometimes I just want a regular clip instead of the separate clip and circle that comes on it from the factory. Unfortunately I could not find anything other than the CLIP-14 that comes with the radio.

Yes, the CLIP-14 works well and is pretty nice, but if you want to attach your radio to a car visor, wear it clipped to a backpack, or attached to your seatbelt cross strap, it can be a struggle.

If it doesn't exist, make it!

I decided to just make my own, and I love it! Now you can love it too!

After designing and building several different prototypes I finally found one that works the way I wanted. Each one is custom made on my 3D printer and fixed to my radio to make sure it fits like it should.

** = Since these radios were never designed to use a standard clip, this clip does "wiggle" from left to right a little. While it in no way affect the clips use, I want to make sure you know exactly what you are getting.

3D printed parts are not as visually perfect as factory items and may contain blemishes or imperfections that do not affect the functionality of the part. The filament I use now is far stronger than standard PLA filament, but does not result in as good of a finish. I prioritize a functional and strong part over something "pretty".
