            ANSWER: for paintball players velocity testing Paintballs exclusively up to 399 fps, the Red Button X-Radar has been optimized for this purpose and is the best choice.   Byrna / Umarex / Valken LL projectiles and Airsoft BBs can exceed 399 fps.  So for velocity testing these various faster projectiles up to 698 fps as well as Paintballs, the Yellow Button X-Radar is the best choice.  Both are available on Ebay.
