The Wild Berry, an Oxford, Ohio icon, was founded in 1971 by Marc Biales. The Cleveland Heights native lingered in Oxford after graduating from Miami University, taking classes and building a new business. This eclectic gift store started out as a leather shop specializing in Biales’ hand made belts, bracelets, sandals, purses and incense. Gradually, Biales incorporated items from around the world with a focus on handcrafts.

Today, The Wild Berry maintains a long-standing tradition of finding specialty items that are interesting and unique, featuring wacky and unusual gifts. The store is a nostalgic blast from the past for many who bring their kids in to shop for bulk candy, sterling silver jewelry, clothing from around the world, posters, greeting cards, and t-shirts.
