Wells, Miller & Provost New York Pepper Sauce Bottle Civil war era aqua. Nice aqua Wells, Miller & Provost No. 217 Front St. New York bottle. Open pontil scar with sharp edge on bottom. 8 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 wide at base. Lots of whittling and a few bubbles. A chip/flake on base running up 1\2 inch ( last photo) . Another small chip on base not pictured. No other chips or cracks. Pretty clear for a bottle of this age. Possibly use some more cleaning in the bottom.
