All of our cells in the Waterchlor/Electrochlor self cleaning range are made in Australia and will produce the same amount as the original cells. We only use platinum coated titanium imported from the largest exporter of this product in the USA. This has proven to be the best and most consistent material over the past 20+ years. That is why from our experience, the generic cells we source will last as long, and in most cases longer than the original part.

Please note:  These cells will look shorter than the original cell and that is because the have an extra plate (7 plates, rather than 6).  Please see the note below, for the reason why we believe this is a better design.

*** The original model of this cell came with push on terminals - These connections were found to be problematic with issues of overheating causing leaking through the cell head.  This new model has a cell head that has a solid cable connection (resin filled) and simply connects to the junction box underneath the power pack.

We have also added an extra plate to this cell (total of 7) as we have found over time that this shorter and extra plate material design, gives better material life and efficiency ***
