FATHOM Multi Reverb Pedal and ARP87 Delay
ARP-87 Multi-Function Delay Pedal
With four master algorithms — Digital, Analog, Lo-Fi, and Slap — the JHS ARP-87 multi-function guitar delay pedal covers a broad tonal spectrum. Its Digital setting delivers crystal-clear repeats that are ideal for rhythmic riffs. The Analog algorithm adds dimension and warmth to single-note lines and chords without muddying up your tone. The Lo-Fi setting sports repeats with adjustable frequency range, for everything from bandwidth-challenged AM radio to full-on dark, filthy, and twisted. The ARP-87's Slap setting lets you easily dial in awesome slapback echo that's perfect for country chicken pickin’. Engineered with additional cool features such as tap tempo, smart bypass switching, and momentary knob ramp, the JHS ARP-87 delivers a myriad of tasty tonal options for your exploration.
The magic X knob
The JHS ARP-87 is spec'd with an innovative X knob that changes functionality depending on which algorithm you choose. Programmed to adjust a specific parameter in each algorithm, the X knob controls modulation depth in Digital, Analog, and Slap modes, and filter width in Lo-Fi mode. Sweetwater tip: changing delay types loads a new algorithm, and you must tap in your tempo again.
Got trails?
You can run the ARP-87 in trails or no-trails mode. Set to trails mode, the delay trails trail off naturally when you switch the pedal off. In no-trails mode, the delay trails are unceremoniously cut off when you switch off the ARP-87. Holding down the bypass switch for one second while applying power to the pedal toggles between the two modes.
Momentary functions
With the ARP-87's bypass switch in the off position, pressing and holding it temporarily activates the effect to add a momentary delay to your signal. When you release the switch, the effect turns off. While the effect is on, press and hold the bypass switch to momentarily ramp the X parameter to its maximum. Releasing the switch sets the X parameter back to the knob position setting. To temporarily ramp the feedback to maximum, press and hold the Tap switch
