For sale is a vintage pair of hand carved maracas, made from gourds that have also been stained. They are estimated to have been made the 1960's or 1970's. They both have wooden handles and measure 5 inches in diameter by 10 inches long. Both have beautiful, carved designs on the sides, depicting palm trees, birds, castle lighthouses and a native indigenous Chief. Overall in Excellent Used Condition (EUC), without any cracks or repairs, consistant with 60 year old maracas.
