Presenting for sale is a beautiful MCM Bauer/Brusche USA Monterey Moderne Patterned ceramic casserole made in California. Quintessential MCM design with buttery speckled yellow glaze complimented by with attractive gold toned fillagree metal cradle. 

Excellent condition commensurate with age and use. Minor oxidation on mental stand and glaze wear patches on bottom at injection points. Otherwise no chips, cracks or crazing along with no scuffs or scrapes inside suggesting minimal to no use. 

This Mid Century Modern piece will make a great display item in your Mid century Modern decor or gift to a Bauer Pottery Collector. 

Circa 1950s as Bauer bought the Brusche Pottery Company in 1950 and the line was continued until 1961.

Approximate measurements: Casserole dish: 9 1/4" diameter x 3" deep (inside) 3 1/4" h (4 1/2" high with lid). Stand: 12 1/2" handle to handle, 3 1/4 high (base) 9" diameter. Holds approximately 2 quarts filled.
