Sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for a Rabbi reading Torah handmade, ceramic sculpture by Dino Bencini. Made in Italy. The sculpture is in good condition with age related issues. Spaghetti hair, shades can be translucent in a white glaze to areas more brown. Sticker residue on right on scarf, very cool, large piece. Flaws in pottery. Unglazed areas are not chips like the right side of scarf and sides of base in places. Sticker residue on back above his incised glazed signature in white. Bencini, Italy with an r in parenthesis. Flaws in pottery and glaze along with spots dots lumps and bumps: made that way. Dirt in crevices. Underside pottery color base, shelfwear, black spots, white faint marks. Handmade, anything goes.
