Very Hard to Find of this Genre, "Smokey the Bear" Rayon/cotton Blend Late 1940s-50s Souvenir Scarf issued/approved by the US Department of Agriculture, and the State Forestry Depts as stated on the edges. Fringed perimeter, Loads of Great Graphics on this piece, with Classic Smokey in Hat holding a shovel, and at his feet, in a circle, the logo "Remember, Only YOU can Prevent Forest Fires". All His Forest friends are here, Measures approximately 20X22" including fringe. Good Shape but does have a considerable amount of small brown speck spots & small brown stains, no fade to the bright colors, a few small black smudges in the red border. Being sold in "As-Is" Condition, I've not laundered or treated (I wouldn't touch this though because if you soak it in water, the red dye will likely bleed onto the ivory)...BUY-IT-NOW!
