This is a vintage Vox Ampliphonic Stereo Multi-Voice effect unit. It was in for service years ago, sat in a pile for a while, and hasn't been tested since. It is being sold as non-functional, for parts or repair. A clever tech could get this thing going again!

In the late 1960s, Vox began making brass and woodwind instruments loaded with pickups for amplification like electric guitars. This spawned the idea of effects and processors, like the Multi-Voice, which sought to create the sense that a single instrument was being accompanied by other instruments. Eventually, guitarists got hip to plugging in - as always!
What's really going on is a series of Octavers and Doublers working like draws on an organ. It can also be pushed into overdrive to achieve somewhat of an octave-fuzz effect. The direction in which the rocker switches are engaged determines whether the corresponding effect is routed to the left or right outputs. It also has an awesome vibrato switch. Its original footswitch is included as well.
