Details: Very rare fleur-de-lis cast iron and brass fireplace andirons by Virginia Metalcrafters. Each is marked on the back with the model number, copywrite date, and "Virginia Metalcrafters".

Begun in 1890 as the Waynesboro Stove Company, Virginia Metalcrafters became known nationwide for its fine cast iron and brass wares. They were contracted to a number of historical sites to manufacture fine reproductions, the company shut its doors in 2006. The original building in Waynesboro, Virginia is now on the National Register of Historic Places.
