This is a vintage metal advertising thermometer promoting Treflan and Balan herbicides, produced by Elanco Agricultural Chemicals. The sign features bold, colorful graphics of common weeds and the slogan: “Kills weeds… rain or shine.” A great example of mid-20th century agricultural advertising.
