On the block: One (1) vintage Stuart Symington for Senator Missouri Campaign souvenir pinback button.
It measures approx 1 inch from side to side and features a white background with red and blue
overprinting. Along the edge curl, in white, is a union bug. Single shell construction with collet and spring
pin. No date or makers marks. In good used condition with marks commensurate of a 45 + year old
button. No large creases, image loss or dents. There are no raised dimples. Good color and printing.
Minor darkening from handling/age on the back. There is a noticeable surface scratch on the front lower
left. See pics.
He was elected in 1952, 1958, 1964, and 1970 so we are not sure on which election this was.
