To start off this is a brand new item and has never been put together until now. I assembled this for the purpose of displaying it. i believe this to be around 30 yrs old, so this is a unique item. The original battery was dead, but i have replaced it with a brand new 12v SLA battery. I got this awhile back and honestly didn’t care about the inflatable jet ski part, rather the propeller. I believed at that time i could use it as a self propelled diving aid. After testing this out in the pool i believe that could be done and have a powered swim assist for diving, snorkeling, or underwater swimming at a fraction on the cost of buying one that is labeled to do that. This motor is not the cheap little ones that are on some of the inflatables today and cannot be compared to those. i did ride on the ski and although its wobbly to some degree it powered me across the pool at the stated 3.5 mph and easily did 5 mph when i pinned the throttle and let it go by itself. This vintage jet ski is targeted for adults and up to 220lbs rider weight. Once again its brand new just from a different time era. Any questions just send me an email and ill get back with you.
