Vintage sterling silver pill box, handmade by the silversmith Fred Davis, known for his work with the Mexican metalworkers of Taxco. Subtly domed lid, corner niche for ease of opening, strong clasp that prevents the box from accidentally opening when closed. Signed with Davis's conjoined "FD 925" hallmark, c. 1940.
