Vintage Italian (Florence) sewing pin cushion. The padding beneath the velvet is worn down from age and is no longer fluffy enough to hold pins. The velvet is also a bit worn in areas but not ripped and there are no holes. Overall I would say this piece is better for aesthetic enjoyment than function. The cupid spins around the pillowcase so it can be adjusted for various display angles.
