Offered is a Vintage Mandragora UNLIDDED Apothecary Jar and original Scroll from Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals. These Limited Edition jars and scrolls were produced in the 1970s and 1980s and were given to pharmacists and physicians as promotional gifts. Jar is ivory/cream ceramic with gold trim, lettering, and design. Scroll describes the "twilight sleep" of the Mandrake Root. Jar measures approximately 6" tall without lid; widest point is 4 1/2" across. Numbered 33-491 on bottom. Jar is in very nice pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, stains, or gold loss. Rolled scroll has no tears or stains. A unique collectible or gift for a medical or pharmacy student/graduate or Harry Potter fan. Weighs 1 lb. 8 oz. before box and packaging.
