I have eight decorative trinket boxes for sale: these have mainly been used for display..in a cabinet.
I will try and give a bit of info on each box,
The first box the Silver coloured Santisima cruz de Caravaca - A Spanish religious souvenier from the Spanish town of Caravaca de la Cruz,Caravaca is a major pilgrimage site, and home to the Basilica Shrine of
Vera Cruz and The True Cross. This cross (cruz), with its unusual double
arms, is represented on the top of the box. Most souvenirs that come
from Caravaca are in the form of crosses nice to have a nice decorative item you can use every day.
The Round Gold coloured pill box, has a special device inside which slide across to stop the pills falling out.. on th top of the box are decorative turquoise and pearly looking stones.. I cannot tell if these are real Turquoise and seed pearl so selling as not...priced accordingly for a decorative piece..it is still very pretty.
The third one is square gold coloured box with small shell and purple stone embellishment, attractive little piece. opens and closes nicely
The fourth box is an oval floral piece with pottery flowers on the lid, very pretty, sadly these are so fragile that a couple of the flowers have lost petals over the years..hence the low price for this..
The fifth is a round floral topped pill box in a gol coloured metal, the design is very delicate..not sure what it is it looks almost like a silk or cotton design. This box has a brown inner...the lid on this box i a little loose and not really suitable or holding a pill anymore but is very decorative..
The sixth box is a beautiful hart shaped micromasaic topped floral box, featuring I think Dasies and posibly small blue forget me not flowers. This stamped on the base ITALY.... I think this is a lovely piece..my favourite..
The Seventh is a square gold coloured box featuring the Cathederal in Palma Mallorca.. a nice pratical box having four compartments.
Finally the eighth box another lovely vintage piece, oval gold coloured box with nice patterning around the outside, the sparkly blue glass stone makes this a stunning box..
