Brass body exhibits heavy tarnish and patina throughout interior and exterior with metal exhibiting no cracks or breaks. Surfaces exhibit surface wear consistent with age and use. Buyer should assume any and all corks, pads, etc will need to be replaced. Brass neck is present with no mouthpiece, reed or ligature present so new owner will need to provide those items before playing it. Item has NOT been play tested for that reason and we have no idea how to play the saxophone so please purchase knowing it will need a heavy polish and detail cleaning and probably maintenance before playing.
Sax was found with a more contemporary pliable material "gig" style bag. Bag shows only light wear consistent with age and use with no rips, tears or holes and zippers functional with straps present. Bag is marked as being manufactured by Pro Tec International. One of the pouches contain two neck straps with one being in unused condition in factory packaging. All keys moved when manually tested with none appearing to stick or seize.
Saxophone body (without neck attached) measures 22" in length. Bell of the saxophone measures 4-3/4" by 4-3/4" across. Amazing instrument that has been ignored for years and just screaming for a new life now that it has come fresh to the market. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
