Up for sale is this vintage menu from the Bayou Belle Restaurant in Bridgeton, Missouri (in St. Louis County).  The restaurant specialized in classic American food, and was housed in an actual sternwheel packet steamer.  The boat was originally built in Paducah, Kentucky in 1891.  Later she served as a quarter boat in New Orleans.  The boat was towed up the Mississippi, to the Missouri River at St. Charles, and finally brought overland to its final destination in Bridgeton. The restaurant opened there in 1963 but unfortunately it burned in 1975.   Inside, the menu lists the bill of fare from the restaurant.  The prices, in todays market, are amusing.  The menu is in excellent used condition, with no tears, holes, or writing.  It measures 18" tall at the spine edge, and is 11" wide at the bottom edge.  Please consider the pictures as part of this description, and use the zoom feature to examine the menu in detail, to your satisfaction.  It comes to you from my smoke free, pet friendly home.  It will be securely packed in a cardboard reinforced bubble mailer and shipped to the buyer via your choice of listed shipping services.  Feel free to ask any questions you might have.
