Lovely old folding wooden chair ,also called a stargazer chair, from the Senufo people of the Ivory Coast ( Cote d'Ivoire). Traditionally these chairs have a carved animal on the back, in this case an ibis bird. The larger portion of the chair is 29-1/2 inches long and 13 inches wide.
