Featured is a vintage original 1984 Ditzler PPG Auto Paint advertising pin up calendar by Robert Berran. In it a leggy blonde washes a blue Corvette while wearing a red bikini. Advertising on the calendar is for Standard Autobody Supply of Seattle, Bellevue and Mt. Vernon, Washington state.
Robert Berran (1923-2020) was born and raised in New York, After WWII, he studied art and worked as an illustrator for The Illustrators Group, Ross Art, Chate and the Shaw-Barton Calendar House.
The tinned top calendar measures 22" x 45" in complete size and the image size is 22" x 26.5". It is in fair condition, with some tears (some have ben repaired on the back with tape), soiling and water damage (please see photos). The 1984 calendar pad is complete and the image is mostly good, with some small paper loss spots on the models leg and in the upper left corner.
