Vintage 1980s Murphy Choir Robe Gospel Church Cream Red Monogram GMO @ Medium

Thrifting find. Vintage choir robe, made in USA by Murphy's Cap and Gown Company, St. Petersburg, Florida. It is a rich cream color with deep cardinal red accents and monogram letters GMO at upper chest. Hook and loop closure at the cuffs and hook and loop at the chest and shoulder to secure the red front panel. Zip front; Robin brand metal zipper works as it should. I believe this robe is from Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Inside label reads "Herbert's Gospel Record," a music store that was in business in the mid 1980s. The robe is loose and flowy but I'm not sure of the size. I'm about 5'3" and wear a size Small and the robe was quite roomy and long as you can see in the photos, so my best estimate is that it is about a Medium. It's about 53" in length, and 22" from underarm seam to underarm seam. I could find no holes, or tears, but there are areas of snags, a tan spot, fuzzing, and pilling as shown.
