This is a vintage nice-looking USA made basketball from 1976 that was a promotional offer from Colgate-Palmolive (1976 Olympics Sponsors.) It is a rarer Red, White & Blue patriotic colored ball.
This ball is shown as an official size and weight. It is a smaller ball with an approximate 7"-8" diameter currently but could definitely be inflated with some more air, so I am not sure if this is a children's ball or what makes this an "official" size.
It was originally in a plastic bag that had torn and came with an original paperwork order form with the option of buying more. That paper has darkened with age and is falling apart as you can see in the photo. The ball stayed decent overall since it was still in a bag. The ball may have a few light marks from handling for photos and placing in a cleaner bag. (Please see photos for exact condition!) It has been stored in a smoke-free environment.
