Offered is an vintage award winning Hopi coiled basketry tray. The basket has an award ribbon from 1958 from the 1958 Gallup Inter Tribal Ceremonial. The warp material is bundled grasses and the weft id dyed yucca. The weaver is Mabel Kayaakewa. The basket is strong and firm with great color. Excellent condition.
