This untested Sonotone Corp. Model 920 hearing aid, made in 1949, is in very good collectible condition, and is being sold 'AS-IS'. It comes in its original clam shell case, with the original connecting wires, but no ear molds (buds). It is pre-transistor, and has 3 vacuum tubes. It has a gold plated pocket clip, which also covers the microphone on the front side. The on-off switch is on the top left, and the volume control is on the top right. The case has some soiling/staining, but no dents, bends, or damaged cover, and the hinge works fine. Hugo Leiber founded Sonotone Hearing Aid Mfg. Co. in Elmsford, NY, in 1929, and it was out of business by 1970. Please let the pics be your guide when bidding, as they are a major part of the description.
