I have available to purchase a very nice example of a vintage 1948 Gillette “Aristocrat” Safety Razor and Case.
This iconic Gillette Aristocrat Safety Razor is in lovely condition for its age.
The Twist To Open mechanism is working as intended and there is only two small spots of plating loss on the bottom of the Twist To Open mechanism.
The case is also in relatively good condition inside and out. The Gillette logo is faded on the linen interior of the case lid.
Please Note: The case doesn’t snaps open and shut as intended. There are some small spots of plating loss on the lid but the case is otherwise in good condition.
Would make a nice addition to a shaving enthusiast’s collection and is known to give a milder shave to medium shave, making it an ideal razor for someone new to traditional wet shaving.
