As WWII wound down, all divisions of General Motors produced a commemorative book to celebrate the efforts employees put forth to support the war effort. Once I started researching this neat little part of history, I was shocked at the sheer number of books produced by each division. It's one of those things that seem to have been lost to history. I think I ended up with around 17 or 18 different books and I'm not sure that I had them all. I recently sold my collection to a person who is setting up a library in New York. I am now selling my spare copies. See my other listings for other books produced by other General Motors divisions.
The Eastern Aircraft Division was a series of General Motors locations that produced aircraft. If I got this right, they utilized different facilities to produce the components and then shipped them to one location for assembly. For some reason, they did not number the pages but the pages measure around 7/16" thick (covers not included). Note that this copy has a couple of very light spine bumps.
I will ship USPS.
