Up for auction is a Vintage “Sanka Coffee” Advertising Tin Can! This vintage tin coffee can is for One Pound of Drip Grind Sanka Coffee with 97% of the caffeine removed from the 1940s or early-1950s! The tin includes classic multi-color lithography advertising graphics, featuring the original Sanka logo on its front with the “Delicious Coffee - Drink It and Sleep” advertising and brewing instructions on the side. The coffee can has its matching metal lid in place. This coffee was made by the General Foods Corporation in Hoboken, New Jersey. The tin measures about 5” diameter x 3⅜” tall. As shown in the photos, the tin is in very good condition for its age with nice bright colors and sharp details. There are some small marks, light scuffs or scratches, a little light surface rust, and possibly a light dent or ding that you would expect for such old tin container. The interior is still very clean and shiny with little light surface rust. The top and bottom fit together nicely, but there is no key on its top anymore. This vintage “Sanka Coffee” advertising tin coffee can would make a great addition to your collection!
