Awarded at Army or Armed forces level with Palm Device.
Awarded at Corps Level with Gold Star Device.
Awarded at Division Level with Silver Star Device.
Awarded at Brigade or Regiment level with Bronze Star Device.

Members of all U.S. services (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard) serving in Vietnam were eligible to earn this award.
