An incredible late 19th century veterinary medicine, advertising sign! This cardboard, sign measures and impressive 32 x 24.5” framed. The color lithograph on cardboard advertises Kendall’s Spavin cure, a veterinary horse medicine out of Enosburgh Vermont. The sign portrays a Victorian woman with her frilly daughter, feeding a horse while neighbors ride by on their horses and hound dogs look up at her affectionately. On the stairs of her Victorian porch are various products made by the company. Kendall’s mansion appears in the background. At around 130 years, the sign is in fairly good condition with some watermarks and edge losses. Not sure if it was originally mounted on cardboard, but it was certainly framed in the early 1970s. Retains incredible colors.Buyer to pay $65.00insured shipping within the US or 7 pounds priority international.
