You are looking at a very rare XL genuine taxidermy/dried Weedy Seadragon or Seahorse Phyllopteryx taeniolatus. This superbly camouflaged fish usually occurs in kelp covered rocky reefs at depths from 3 to 50 meters. The weedy sea dragon is from Southern Australia and has been assessed as unthreatened for the IUCN red list. This specimen comes from a very old collection but is in excellent condition with no unnatural flaws. It will make a rare and highly esteemed addition to your cabinet of curiosities. It will be very carefully packed and fully insured.
