This is a brand new Vermont American 1 3/4" ( 44.5mm ) bi-metal hole saw. It is made to be installed on a threaded mandrel. It will fit all brands of mandrels, such as Dewalt, Bosch, Vermont American, Black & Decker, Morse, Greenlee and Lenox. This 1 3/4" bimetal hole saw is the proper entrance size for 1 1/4" pipe. This hole saw is rated at 5x the life of regular hole saws. Bimetal hole saws cut steel, aluminum, copper, brass, plastic, wood, drywall, fiberglas, stainless steel and most other materials EXCEPT glass, tile and concrete. This hole saw produces a 1 1/2" depth of cut.
