Yttrium aluminum garnet, otherwise known as YAG, is a lab-created gemstone that has the unique property of fluorescing bright yellow under a UV blacklight. This 1.5ct round cut gem looks as though it were made from sunshine in any light. The gem measures 6mm and is beautifully faceted. It is absolutely perfect with no inclusions.

Please note that due to differences in monitor and screen configurations, colors may look different in person than in photos. I do my best to accurately photograph my items, however, blacklight photos can be particularly difficult to take. I use a 395nm for all photos and identification.
I treasure hunt all over the world for vintage UV glass pieces to use in my jewelry, as well as new glass components from Czech Republic. I specialize in sourcing old art deco cabochons, faceted glass stones, and beads both new and old. I also very much enjoy finding vintage uranium glass jewelry pieces. I represent my vintage pieces to the best of my knowledge with all the research I can muster, but from time to time I may get something incorrect, however, I strive to avoid any misrepresentation and will designate if I am unsure of something. All of my own pieces are made with the greatest care and love and have a lifetime guarantee for repair, including free replacement of damage/loss to the glass stones.
Please note that for my made-to-order items, the listing photos represent my work on the item I will be making for you, rather than the actual item. The made-to-order item you purchase will look like the exact item in the photo. The photos for beads and cabochons are the same - representative of the exact item you will receive.
I am an independent artisan jeweler. Many of my pieces I make by hand to order for each customer, therefore, sometimes my processing times can vary when life happens or there are issues with my material suppliers. I have a 90% or better success rate of completing and shipping orders on time, and over 4k positive reviews on all selling platforms. Giving my customers a good buying experience is my #1 priority, and I ask in return that my customers understand that I am not Amazon. I am happy to answer any and all questions, work with you on processing times, and to solve any issues immediately.
Thanks for looking!
