This cargo net for lifting pallets was designed by the U.S. Mililtary for sling loading with helicopters and parachutes. Its versatility enabled them to drop necessary supplies into combat zones covered or uncovered, on a pallet or not. It is officially called an Aerial Delivery Cargo Bag.

  6. Tie down the corner with cording (not included).
  7. Pull up all four cargo net sides to the top and secure.

Civilian Uses for Covered Lifting Cargo Nets

  • Packing and moving
  • Securing stored equipment and supplies
  • Survival storage
  • Ranches and farms
  • This cargo net works without or without the canvas cover depending on your needs.

This cargo net and cover are in good condition. However, they are used and may no longer be air worthy since the military decommissioned them. Also, the net/sling assembly does not include these components from the original mil specs required for sling loading: Four 24 suspension web straps, sling leg, apex fitting, medium clevis, 1/4 cotton webbing, or nylon cording.

The cargo nets are unmarked and the covers are only stamped with “US”. The NSN is probably #1670-00-587-3421 but we don’t know for sure.

Specify if you want canvas or nylon (if not my shipping guy will make that decision).
