This is an original pair (two units or pieces) of US WWII Mattock covers. These are designed to carry the personal or small mattock on the combat rig. These were used by the engineers, pioneers and regular GI infantry soldiers. These two are NOS and in excellent unissued condition. They are well date marked 45' on the inside. They are Olive green.
