Here we have 10 feet of replacement tacking material used when installing a new convertible top on your car. This tack strip is made out of plastic and will hold staples far better that the original material and it will never deteriorate like the original style. This listing is for 10 feet of the 1/2" wide X 3/8" thick tacking material, the thickness is listed as 3/8" but may vary from 5/16" thick to 3/8" thick, the width is listed at 1/2" but can vary from 7/16" to 1/2". It is commonly used on the top of the header bow at the ends as well as on the ends of the cross bows where the pads would staple to. This material can also be used in the cross bows to fill in any bad spots where the original tacking material is missing
