This is for a NEW 1911 assembly tool. A previous version of this was commonly known as a "widget". The thin end allows for you to install your 1911 safety by depressing the safety plunger and spring. As well as installing a slide release in the same fashion. Even use the round end to depress the recoil spring plug while removing the barrel bushing! MADE IN USA
