Position the cave with the open side against the front or side wall of your aquarium and bury the cave in the substrate, so that only the entry holes are visible and accessible at the surface of the substrate.
Our underground cave is extremely versatile. It features a fastening slot on the top edge, which enables you to fasten two caves together, using a zip tie, fishing line, or other fastener of your choice. Fasten them with the open sides facing towards each other in order to create a large underground cave with no outside view. This setup is great for your aquatic pets that need more privacy and space.
You can position this cave with the open side facing down and weigh it down using a rock or substrate on top, in order to provide a smaller above-ground cave.
