Motorized ball valves provide an energy-efficient option compared to solenoid valves, particularly for extended periods of operation. They primarily use power when opening and closing, with minimal consumption once fully open. This enables continuous operation without the concern of overheating or premature failure. We recommend using Teflon tape to ensure the sealing of NPT threads.
- Standard port. The valve's internal diameter is smaller than the pipe size.
- Normally open. It remains open without power and closes when energized, blocking fluid or gas flow.
- IP65 Rating. If permanently installed outdoors, it is advisable to place it in a shaded area or in a protective enclosure to prevent prolonged exposure to rainwater.
- 3 Signal indicator lights. Open: Indicating that the ball valve is open and operational. Closed: Indicating that the ball valve is closed and in standby mode. Stuck: Indicating that the ball valve is stuck or experiencing a fault condition, requiring inspection or maintenance.
- 2 Wire auto return wiring. DC: Connect the yellow wire to the negative pole(-). The valve will open when the red wire is connected to the positive pole(+), and close when the blue wire is connected to the positive pole(+). Disconnecting any wire will maintain the valve's current state. AC: Connect the yellow wire to any pole. The valve will open when the red wire is connected to the other pole, and close when the blue wire is connected to the other pole. Disconnecting any wire will maintain the valve's current state.
