Dated 1943, 16x power, mark1, mod 1, lenses by Wollensak optical, Rochester, NY. It has a collar that was added to it, it appears to have been mounted to something on the ship when used. No harm was done to the scope, the collar can be loosened with a single screw and removed if desired. I left it as found for the buyer. Box has some dried paper on exterior on 2 places from attic storage and it is missing one of the latches, but it still sits, tightly and safely inside on its felt supports. Latch can be easily matched and replaced if desired, box is still tight with just one though. Serial number is 32781 and that is the same as the serial number on the box. View is fine through the lenses, a nice clean scope. Thanks for looking
