This offering is for a near mint "Trophy of Wales" Set depicting "A Mountain Man Fur Trader & Native American" exchanging furs and trade goods. This set is a rare piece and exceedingly difficult to find in good condition with the original box.
Please note the following condition exception:
Please, review photo# 3 illustrating two small paint chips / paint loss on the blanket held by the Fur Trader. However, the pack horse, Indian, Fur Trader figure, blanket roll and fur pack are all in mint condition as issued.
Trophy of Wales was founded by Len Taylor in South Wales, the United Kingdom; and was a renowned maker of traditional glossy, toy soldiers from its inception in the late 1970's through circa 2005. Sadly, the company has long since been defunct, but their creations are highly sought after by toy soldier collectors.
This set was displayed in a secured curio cabinet; however, the condition is mint excluding the noted exception. The box is in mint condition as issued with no wear points.
Please, review the photos and feel free to ask any questions. Thank you for looking!
