The quick release towing frame is an easy way of transporting your trike.

NOT SUITABLE FOR USE WITH MOTORBIKES

The trike towing frame fits to a standard (not swan neck) tow ball (the measurement from the back of the tow ball to the centre of the ball is 55 mm).

Once the drop plate is fitted behind the tow ball (longer bolts may need to be purchased) the towing frame can be fitted and removed in a matter of seconds and stowed away in the smallest of car boots

The drop plate will not be in the way of towing trailers etc. so is a one time fitting only

We recommend the use of ratchet straps to secure the wheel in position and

following customer feedback the securing pin and eyes

(as shown in the first picture) are no longer fitted.

Please contact us if you have a wider tyre (over 160 mm) as it may be necessary to manufacture a wider frame to fit.

A steel ramp as pictured can be supplied at an extra cost - please contact for details

Each frame is individually I.D marked with a number to correspond with the accompanying Examination Certificate.

The reports comply with the requirements of the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1988 and amendments to it.

All tests are carried out under the guidelines set out by The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA)

Please check the nose weight of your trike does not exceed the maximum recommended for your towing vehicle.
