This item is a used Triad smoothing filter reactor.  The specifications are marked:

  • -  6 Hy
  • -  300 ma
  • -  90 ohms
  • -  2500 RMS test

 

These markings lead me to believe it is actually a TRIAD type C-18A 8 Henry choke.

 

The weight is approximately 6 lbs.

 

Lead lengths are approximately 4” and 6”.

 

It was removed from a working broadcast transmitter as a replacement for a 6 Henry choke.
