Our thoughts on the Classic Montblanc

Montblanc, synonymous with fountain pens, has a long and varied history. In modern times, it has become a member of the Richemont Group and has a luxury boutique. However, it had a history of hardship from the 1960s to the 1990s.
Montblanc's position was precarious due to the rise of ballpoint pens, and from the 1960s to the 1980s, the company simplified the materials used and mass-produced them, resulting in a decline in quality. Old Montblanc products that are still being unearthed today have excellent writing feel. However, the quality of the resin is poor. They can suddenly crack.
Many Meisterstuck pens are made of thick resin called precious resin and are in relatively good condition. There are variations on the pen clips, such as "GERMANY", "W-GERMANY", and "no description", and it was only after the 1990s that serial numbers were engraved.

Finishing of Used Products

In order to remove the old ink, it is soaked in lukewarm water containing ascorbic acid overnight to check for any abnormalities.
Clean with an ultrasonic cleaner and a dropper until there is no ink remaining.
Use a magnifying glass to check the condition of the nib and missing parts
