The canisters are purged when fresh air is drawn into the tank during thermal contraction or while the engine is running, returning the hydrocarbon molecules to the fuel.

This canister functions as a hydrocarbon vapor control device. If liquid, such as water or gasoline, enters the canister, it will coat the carbon and hinder its ability to capture gasoline vapors. Although a single instance of liquid entering the canister won’t damage the carbon, a poorly designed system that repeatedly allows liquid inside will impair the canister’s functionality.

Return Policy
We strive to provide quality parts and customer service. If within 30 days after you receive your items, you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return the item/s for a refund. Items must be returned in NEW condition with an RMA (Returned Merchandise Authorization) and copy of your original invoice. Before receiving credit all returns will be inspected to ensure they are returned in new condition with all included manuals, accessories, parts, and/or original packaging. Failure to return the item/s in new, unused, unaltered condition with all additional materials will be subject to a restocking fee or no refund. Items should be repackaged the same way they were received (in most cases with packing material and double boxed) with item invoice included. We recommend all return packages be trackable for the safety of both the customer and the business. We will not assume responsibility for lost shipments.
Refunds: You can expect your refund once we have received and inspected your return.
