Contact must be made by a private message to us within 24 hours of the sale with shaft diameter and 7 or 9 tooth gear or the sale will be cancelled. If you don't have the information needed then wait until you do to purchase the adapter.
Ford and GM gears do not mix. GM with GM tail shafts, Ford with Ford tail shafts.
I'll say this again, Message me with the information. If I don't get this information I'll refund your purchase.
If you don't know which gear you need contact me and I can help you with that. You must have a cable drive tail housing for this kit to work.
Fits S10 T5 tail housings with GM gear. Can be used on some T5 Ford tail housings with the Ford 6 or 7 tooth gear. Buy at your own risk for a Ford tail housing.
This doesn't convert a electronic housing to cable drive. You must have a cable drive housing. We can convert a electronic housing to cable drive.
This kit is made to work with an S10 front shift cable drive tail housing when putting it on a Camaro or Ford transmission, and when putting a Ford tail housing on a camaro transmission. .This kit relocates the speedometer drive gear to the correct location on the main shaft. There is no drilling of the shaft to weaken it, and no epoxy needed. This is a simple bolt on kit. The only special tool needed is an Allen wrench.
Included in the kit is a custom made split sleeve to fit your application, a shaft collar, a speedometer gear retaining clip, a specially modified GM 7 or 9 tooth drive gear, thread locker, and a set of instructions.
To calculate what speedometer gears you need you can go to the TCI Auto web site. Or if you like just send me a message and I'll calculate it for you. I will need to know your axle ratio and tire size.

There are different sized output shafts so you will need to measure them before ordering. I can not make up a kit without this measurement.
You will need either a micrometer or caliper to measure the output shaft. A tape measure is not good enough. Harbor Freight sells an inexpensive digital caliper for $15 that will do the job and be useful for other things around the shop. Calipers are easier to use than a micrometer is when measuring shafts like this. You need to measure the small part of the shaft as in the picture I've included in this ad. Since these are custom made for you there are no returns, so measure carefully.
Please allow for at least 1 week to make and ship a custom kit to fit your application.
We also do T5 and T56 cable speedometer drive conversion. Please see our other ads for these conversions.
